Route Protection Insurance

Fume partners with Route Package Protection to offer coverage for lost, stolen, and damaged items.

Coverage

• Undelivered packages by the carrier (after 7 days for domestic US shipments, 20 days internationally).
• Stolen packages marked delivered but not received (claims filed 5-30 days after delivery date).
• Damaged items (claimed within 30 days).
• Packages delivered to a wrong address, if the customer provided correct information at checkout.

Exclusions

• Customer-entered incorrect addresses.
• Quality or satisfaction issues.
• Packages held in customs.
• Items marked "return to sender".
• Pre-shipment tracking status and unshipped orders.
• Claims filed outside the specified timeframes.

Filing Requirements

Stolen package claims require filing 5 days after the delivery date but no longer than 30 days. Lost package claims for non-delivered items must be filed within 30 days from the final checkpoint. Route may request online notarized statements at its discretion.

Special Provisions

Customized items receive refunds rather than reorders. Out-of-stock items can be refunded for later purchase. Customers using payment installments must continue payments directly to those companies even after Route refunds orders.
